Wind battery drain

Terminals are clean and tight. The battery is relatively new, maybe a year old. Could a faulty sensor really cause such a heavy drain, even with a new battery? Is this a common Wind problem?

Yes, a faulty battery sensor can definitely cause a significant drain. It fools the car into thinking the battery needs constant charging, even when it doesn't. Had the exact same issue. Best bet is to get it checked out at a workshop; they can pinpoint it quickly. Cost me around 315€ to fix.

Thanks for the insight! I'll get the battery sensor checked. Sounds like that's the most likely culprit. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms with my Wind. Have you checked the battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections? Also, what's the age of your battery? A failing battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical gremlins.
