Wind Cabin Fan Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Renault Wind owner reported a complete failure of the cabin fan, with diagnostics indicating an error but no blower motor activity. The fuses were checked and found to be in good condition. The suspected cause was a defective blower motor. Another owner shared a similar experience, confirming that a faulty blower motor was the issue, which required professional diagnosis and replacement. The original owner replaced the blower motor themselves, resolving the problem and restoring the HVAC system's functionality.

More complex, you say? Interesting. Can you elaborate? What did you have to do to fix it? I am trying to avoid spending too much money and time.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fix it myself. I brought it to a local workshop and got the system diagnosed. They confirmed that the blower motor was faulty, so I had to have the part and labor done there. I hope you're able to get to the bottom of it. The final invoice was around 365€ including VAT.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback! It seems like I'll be heading down a similar path. I purchased a new blower motor, and after a slight struggle getting to the old one, it's all sorted. The HVAC system is now working flawlessly. Cost me 365€ in the end. Thanks for your time!

I own a Wind too, and I had similar symptoms last year. The air flow just stopped without any warning signs. It turned out to be more complex than I initially thought.
