Wind tailgate error

Hi, I've got a 2011 Renault Wind with a gasoline engine, and the tailgate is playing up. Basically, it throws an error in the memory and doesn't open fully. I'm guessing it's the hall sensor, probably a dodgy cable or plug. Anyone else had this?

Strange, I had something similar with my Wind, although it was a while ago. Was it intermittent at first, or did it just suddenly stop working properly?

It's been a bit intermittent to be honest. Sometimes it works fine, other times it barely opens. Did yours do the same before it completely failed?

Yep, exactly the same symptoms. Intermittent at first, then it packed in completely. I tried fiddling with it myself, but in the end, I had to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'll probably do the same then. I was hoping it was a simple fix, but it sounds like it's beyond my capabilities. Looks like I'm going to spend around 95€.
