Yes, I remember the repair costs very well. It was exactly €375 to fix the broken relay. It may be a bit expensive, but I haven't had any problems since. My Transit now runs like clockwork. So I'd say it was definitely worth getting it fixed straight away. Have you already made an appointment with the garage?

Moin, yes, I've just made an appointment for next week. It's more expensive than I thought. But I don't want to risk causing any additional problems. It's better to get it sorted now. I hope my transit runs smoothly again afterwards. Thanks for your help, that was really reassuring! See you around, take care!

I am afraid that you no longer have a normal "relay" installed, but that the relay is installed directly in a control unit that is responsible for the wiper. The only thing that can help here is a new control unit or you can take the control unit to a company that specializes in control unit repairs. MFG

Hi, I have a 2017 Ford Transit (diesel, 98,000 km) and recently had a similar problem. My engine was running irregularly and warning lights were flashing. The diagnosis was a faulty relay, just like in your case. It wasn't a big problem, just a bit of a scare, it took a bit of time in the workshop to replace it. So don't take it lightly, get it checked as soon as possible. It's not a big deal, but it can become a bigger problem in the long run if you don't get it fixed.
