Hi, thanks for your reply! It sounds like we had the same problem. As you've already had this experience, could you remember how expensive the whole thing was for you? And have there been any further complications or similar problems since the repair? Best regards!

Hello, of course I remember! It cost me €375 to repair the relay for the windshield wipers, definitely not cheap, but I haven't had any problems with the wipers since. If you're worried that problems might arise again after the repair, don't worry. A competent mechanic should be able to replace the faulty relay without any problems. That was the case for me anyway, and everything has been running smoothly ever since. No further complications or similar problems so far. Hope this helps you! Best regards!

Hello, thank you very much for this information! That is a great help. Your experience reassures me that it shouldn't usually be a major problem if you have a capable mechanic. 375€ sounds expensive, but if it allows the wipers to work properly again, then it's worth it. I really appreciate your advice and help. It helps me prepare for what's to come. Best regards!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Toyota RAV4 from 2002. My car showed the same error with the windshield wipers and also a warning light in the speedometer. After a thorough investigation in the garage, it turned out that the relay for the windshield wipers was defective. It was no easy task, but nothing to worry about. After the diagnosis, they simply had to replace the faulty relay and then everything worked perfectly again. Hope that helps you. All the best!
