Windstar Fuel Pump Issues

My 2003 Ford Windstar with a gasoline engine is acting up at 116354 km. It sometimes won't start, stalls at idle, and the check engine light is on. It runs rough and drinks more fuel. The error memory points to fuel delivery. Fuel pump?

I had similar symptoms with my Windstar. Rough running, stalling... Check your fuel injector pulse width. Is it within spec?

The injector pulse width meters the fuel. A bad pump starves the engine, and the computer tries to compensate. Mine was the fuel pump cable. A shop confirmed it. Get yours checked.

Thanks, I'll check the cable and plug connections before replacing the fuel pump. It was the fuel pump cable. Cost 95€ to repair.
