Windstar Sunroof Error

Hey, I'm hoping someone can help with a weird issue on my 2001 Ford Windstar with a gasoline engine. The mileage is at 137894 km. My sunroof seems to be completely buggered. I'm getting some kind of 'sunroof not initialized' error, and the sunblind is stuck in one position. The convertible top won't open or close at all, and the sunblind doesn't retract or extend. I think it might be related to some coding someone did on the vehicle a while back, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen with my Windstar. Is the error message constant, or does it come and go?

It's pretty constant, yeah. It's there every time I try to use the sunroof. What did you do to fix yours?

Ah, mine was constant too. Sounds like you messed up the coding. In the end I bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local mechanic, and they managed to reset the sunroof system for 75€. Seems to be working perfectly now!
