Yes, there is a strange noise! It has 46938 km. So, it's likely the tensioner then?

Sounds like it. It could be something else, but considering the kilometers and symptoms, it points to that. If you don't want to get stranded, I'd suggest you take it to a workshop.

Thanks! I did. Turns out the belt tensioner was indeed defective, and it cost me 455€ to fix. Appreciate the help!
