Wingroad Crankshaft Camshaft Error

My 2010 Nissan Wingroad with a diesel engine is giving me some grief. The check engine light is on, and I've noticed reduced engine power, poor response, and higher fuel consumption. I scanned it and it's showing a crankshaft to camshaft reference value error. I'm thinking it might be the crank sensor. Anyone else had this issue?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Wingroad. Same symptoms – engine light, sluggish performance, and the fuel economy went down the drain. The code pointed to something similar, a crankshaft/camshaft correlation problem. Have you checked for any misfires?

Thanks for the reply. No misfires that I can detect. Did you replace the crank sensor yourself, or did you take it to a mechanic? Was it definitely the crank sensor that was faulty?

I messed with it for a bit, but honestly, I ended up taking it to a workshop. In my case, it was indeed a defective crank sensor. I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed to be sure, but the symptoms sound very familiar. Cost me around 340€.

Thanks. I'll take it to a shop to confirm the diagnosis. Sounds like it's probably the crank sensor. It was a faulty crank sensor, now fixed.
