Wingroad engine stalling

Hi, I've got a 2010 Nissan Wingroad with a gasoline engine that's giving me some grief. The check engine light is on and the engine sometimes stalls when I'm idling. I've checked the gas cap, and it seems fine. Any ideas?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Nissan Wingroad, although I can't remember what year it is. The check engine light and stalling sounds familiar. I'd check the fuel tank ventilation system. It could be a leak somewhere, messing with the air flow.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly should I be looking for this leak? Is there a specific part of the ventilation system that's more prone to issues?

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. In my case, it turned out to be a defective activated charcoal filter. It's part of the fuel tank ventilation. I'd say take it to a workshop; they'll have the tools to diagnose it properly.

Thanks. I took it to a mechanic, and you were right! The charcoal filter was the culprit. Cost me 275€ to get it fixed. Now the car runs like a charm. Appreciate the help!
