Winner Diesel Running Lean

Hi, I've got a 2000 Nissan Winner diesel that's running lean. Mileage is around 249250 km. I'm experiencing reduced power, the check engine light is on, rough running, and jerking when accelerating. Could this be a defective injection valve or injector? Anyone else had similar issues?

Lean running... hmm. Have you checked the oxygen sensor? Could also be the EGR valve or even a vacuum leak in the intake manifold. Are you sure the throttle body is clean?

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll check those. But wouldn't a bad oxygen sensor or EGR valve throw different codes? And a vacuum leak... wouldn't that cause other problems too?

True, it could be other things, but those are the most common. If it's running that rough and the light's on, I'd say get it to a workshop. Might save you some headache. You can also check spark plugs.

Appreciate the advice! Took it to a shop, and you were right - it was the injectors. Cost me 515€ to replace them. Runs much better now, thanks!
