XC40 Electric Blower Motor AUC Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Volvo XC40 Electric experienced a dead blower motor and an AUC sensor fault, suspected to be due to a cable or plug issue. A similar issue on a different vehicle suggested the possibility of a faulty sensor. However, the problem was resolved by fixing a defective cable and securing a loose plug, costing 95€.

The sensor itself? You mean a replacement? Were the symptoms the same?

Yes, the module was faulty. The symptoms matched, even though it was a different car. It might save you time if you take it in.

I had something similar happen on a 2018 BMW 3 series. The climate control went haywire. It's worth checking the basics, but it could be the sensor itself.
