Exactly! It feels totally disconnected, like the button does nothing at all. Did you manage to diagnose it yourself or did it have to go in for professional help?

Unfortunately, I had to bite the bullet and take it to the workshop. Although I'm fairly handy, messing with steering components felt like a recipe for disaster. They sorted it quickly enough, thankfully.

Thanks. I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but your experience confirms my suspicions. I'll get it booked in. Turns out it was a defective cable, cost me 95€, all in. Cheers!
