Thank you for your quick response. I haven't checked the voltage specifically. I'm familiar with automotive electrics in general, but could you please elaborate on which component's voltage I should be checking and what the expected range should be?

Considering the error message and the potential for a defective connection, I would check the voltage at the control module for the emergency call system itself. You can use a multimeter to check the voltage. However, given the complexity of automotive electronics and the potential impact on safety systems, I would still advise having the workshop check the system. It will cost around 95€, but might be worth it.

Much appreciated, I understand the importance of a properly functioning emergency call system. I will follow your advice and take it to a reputable workshop for a thorough inspection and repair. It turned out to be a defective cable connection in the end. Thanks again!

An issue with the emergency call system is not something to take lightly, as it is an integral part of your car safety. It may be caused by a faulty control module. Could you please specify if you have checked the voltage?
