Honestly, I didn't dig too deep myself. Just took it to the workshop. But yeah, from what they said, it was something simple like that. A loose connection or corroded wire. I'd get it checked out; could save you a headache.

I appreciate your assistance. Following your advice, I visited the workshop, and indeed, the issue was a defective cable connection to the temperature sensor. The repair cost 95€. Now, the temperature monitoring is operational, and the air conditioning system is functioning correctly.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got an XC40, and I had a similar issue last winter. AC acting up, nozzles freezing… did your temperature gauge also go haywire?
