No error codes unfortunately, just a generic 'audio system malfunction' message. I haven't checked the antenna connection myself – not really sure where to find it in the infotainment system to be honest. The car has 165595 km.

Okay, with that mileage and those symptoms, a defective antenna is highly likely. Given that you're not comfortable digging into the infotainment system, I'd advise taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly and replace the antenna if needed.

Thanks! Appreciate the confirmation, will book it in with a garage. Turns out the antenna was defective, as you predicted. Cost me 255€ to fix it.

Sounds like it could be the antenna, yeah. Does the error message provide any specific codes? Have you checked the antenna connection in the infotainment system? How many km on the clock?
