Summary of the thread
The main issue discussed is a faulty windshield washer heater in a 2020 Volvo XC40 hybrid, leading to freezing spray nozzles in cold weather. A defective cable or plug connection is considered a possible cause. Thanks for the tip. Where exactly is the fuse box located, and which fuse is responsible for the washer heater? And yes, the windshield wipers are working fine.

The fuse box is usually located in the engine compartment or under the dashboard. I can't tell you exactly which one it is, as I don't have the car's specs at hand. However, I would suggest that you visit a workshop to have the cable connections checked. I had the same symptoms, and they told me that the cable connection of the component was defective. The repair cost me 95€.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'll check the fuse box first. If that doesn't work, I'll take it to the workshop and mention the cable connection issue. I appreciate the advice.

I had a similar issue with my XC40. Have you checked the fuse box? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause the washer heater to malfunction, especially with those symptoms. Does your windshield wiper operate correctly?
