XC60 AC failure

My 2014 Volvo XC60 diesel's AC has completely given up at 167546 km. It doesn't cool, and I can't tell if the system is trying to switch on. I've checked fuses, but I'm no expert. Any ideas before I take it to a shop?

I had a similar problem with my XC60's AC. Have you checked the AC relay or the blower motor? Sometimes a faulty pressure switch can also cause the system to fail.

Thanks! Where is the AC relay located, and how would I know if the pressure switch is the culprit? I'm not hearing any weird AC noise, so I don't think it's the blower motor.

I'm not sure about the exact location of the relay. It is best to have the system checked by a workshop. In my case, the diagnosis showed a defect in the individual valves in the air conditioning system.

Appreciate the info! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. Turns out it was a faulty valve. Cost me around 1000€ to get it fixed, but at least it's blowing cold air again.
