XC60 climate control malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Volvo XC60 hybrid experienced a climate control malfunction, with the heating output too low and the AC not switching on. The suspected cause was a defective cable or plug connection. After consulting with others, it was suggested to check the wiring harness and electrical connectors, as these could be loose or corroded. The issue was confirmed to be a defective connector, which was repaired at a workshop.

Where exactly should I be looking for the wiring harness and connectors? Is there a specific location that's more prone to issues?

Honestly, tracing the entire HVAC system's wiring is a pain. It could be anywhere from the control panel itself to the blower motor or even the power supply relay. Given the error code and multiple symptoms, I'd say a workshop visit is probably the best bet before you start tearing things apart.

Thanks. I took it to a shop, and it turned out to be a defective connector, just like I suspected. Repair cost was 95€ Appreciate the input.

Sounds like an HVAC system issue. Have you checked the wiring harness and electrical connectors? A loose connection or corroded connector could definitely cause those symptoms. Could also be a faulty temperature sensor affecting the whole system.
