XC60 Cruise Control Failure
Summary of the thread
The cruise control on a 2019 Volvo XC60 diesel stopped working at 223,602 kilometers, with no dashboard warnings but an error in the diagnostic scan. The initial suspicion was a cable or plug issue, as the brake light switch and throttle position sensor were functioning correctly. After further investigation, it was confirmed to be a defective connection, which was repaired at a workshop.

Yes, the brake lights work fine. Is there a specific connection or wiring harness related to the cruise control system that's known to be problematic on these models?

If the brake lights are working normally, there are no warning lights, and you already checked the throttle position, then it might be a more complex electrical issue. I would suggest taking it to a workshop to have it properly diagnosed.

I took it to my workshop, and it was a defective connection, as I suspected. The repair cost 95€. Thanks for the help!

Does the brake light illuminate correctly when you press the brake pedal? A faulty brake light switch can often disable cruise control as a safety measure.
