Interesting! When you say 'similar issue', was it also showing up as an error code, or just the rough idle? Where exactly is that wiring harness located? I'm picturing something like trying to find a specific grain of sand on a beach!

Yep, error code and the shaky idle. The harness runs near the top mount, kinda tucked behind the engine. Honestly, I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact fault much quicker.

Thanks a bunch for the tip! I took it to my mechanic, and you nailed it – a cracked wire in the harness! They replaced the plug and wiring for 95€. Runs smooth as butter now. You saved me a ton of diagnostic time!

I had a similar issue on my XC60. Check the wiring harness that connects to the engine mount. They're known to get brittle and crack over time, especially with engine heat cycling. Feels like you're chasing a ghost, right?
