XC60 Diesel Reduced Engine Power After Tuning
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Volvo XC60 diesel experienced reduced engine power and error codes, potentially due to a compromised engine map from chip tuning. A solution was found by reverting to the original engine parameters, which resolved the problem and restored the vehicle's performance.

Could you elaborate on the issues you encountered with your BMW, and whether you found a correlation between the aftermarket tuning and the malfunctions?

Yeah, I had the same symptoms. I took it to a workshop and they said the chip tuning was the problem. They reverted to the stock map and it was fine. I'd suggest doing the same before it gets worse.

Following your suggestion, I consulted with a workshop. The issue stemmed from a faulty remap. They restored the original engine parameters for a cost of 180€. The vehicle now operates flawlessly. Thanks again for your assistance.

Sounds familiar. I had error codes and limp mode on my old BMW 3 series. Check your car computer with a decent scan tool. Could be related to the tuning.
