XC60 Engine Running Lean

Having trouble with my 2017 Volvo XC60 gasoline. It's got about 164323 km on it. Recently, I've noticed a significant reduction in engine power, and the check engine light keeps popping up. The engine also runs pretty rough, and it feels like the car is jerking when I try to accelerate. I scanned the OBD and it says the engine is running lean, which I understand means there's too little fuel. I've checked the intake manifold for leaks, and I cleaned the mass air flow sensor, but nothing seems to fix it. Could it be the spark plugs, or something worse like a defective fuel injector?

I had something similar happen with my XC60. Check engine light, rough running, and a loss of power. I didn't check the air-fuel ratio myself, but does it happen all the time, or just when the engine is cold?

Thanks for the quick response! It seems to happen mostly when the engine is warm, actually. When it's cold, it runs a bit rough but not nearly as bad as when it's warmed up. Does that sound familiar? Did you ever figure out what exactly was causing the problem?

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what mine was doing. It ended up being a faulty fuel injector. I tried a few things myself, but honestly, I just took it to a workshop and let them sort it out. Best bet is probably to get it checked out by a professional.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice! I'll take it to the shop and have them take a look at the fuel injectors. The estimate came to 515€ for parts and labour. Hopefully that's all it is. Appreciate the help!
