XC60 Fuel Pump Failure

My 2009 Volvo XC60, gasoline engine, 65523 km, won't start. Engine stalls at idle, check engine light is on, rough running, and high fuel consumption. Error memory has codes. Suspect fuel pump or gasoline delivery issue. Already checked for obvious cable or plug issues.

I had similar symptoms on my XC60. Check engine light, rough running, stalling... Sounds like a fuel pump failure to me. Have you checked the fuel injector?

Fuel injector was not checked. What exactly was the issue on your car?

I didn't check myself. I took it to a workshop. They said the pump was faulty and replaced it. Could also be a bad connection. Best let them read the error codes.

Thanks for the info. The workshop confirmed it was the fuel pump. Cable/plug connection was indeed defective. Repair cost was 95€. Runs fine now.
