XC60 Keyless Access Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Volvo XC60 owner experienced a failure in the keyless access system on the driver's door, with an error related to the door handle stored in the memory. The issue was suspected to be a cable or plug problem within the door mechanism. A similar case was resolved by addressing a faulty connection in the door, which was fixed at a workshop for 95€. The owner plans to have the vehicle checked, expecting a similar solution.

Yeah, it's just the driver's door giving me grief. Any idea what the problem was specifically for you? Was it an easy fix?

Turns out it was a dodgy connection in the door. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it yourself unless you're really confident. I ended up taking mine to a workshop. Cost me 95€, and they sorted it quick.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'll be booking mine in for a checkup. It ended up being a defective plug connection, just like you said. Total cost was 95€ to fix it!

Yep, sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen on my XC60. Drove me nuts! Is it just the one door?
