Thanks! Where is the fuse you're talking about? Did your Renault have any other symptoms?

The fuse box was under the hood, near the battery. The diagram should label the fan. I didn't have other symptoms, but I'd suggest a workshop to check for defects, just in case.

It was a defective connection, like I thought. The repair cost 95€. Thanks for the help!

Overheating is never fun! Sounds like my old Renault Megane. It was a dodgy connection to the fan motor. Have you checked the fuses? Sometimes it's a simple fix.
