XC60 Power Window Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Volvo XC60 hybrid experienced a complete power window failure, with a diagnostic tool indicating an error in the window regulator circuit. Initial symptoms included hesitant window operation and a faint ticking noise from the driver's side door. These signs suggested a failing power window switch, which was confirmed by a repair shop. Replacing the defective switch resolved the issue.

Prior to this, the window operation seemed hesitant. I did perceive a faint 'tick' from the driver's side door, but dismissed it. Could this be the clue?

That sounds extremely familiar. The hesitant operation and the clicking noise are classic symptoms. I'd say it's highly likely your power window switch is the culprit. I ended up going to a workshop to have it checked. Probably best to do the same.

Following your recommendation, I went to my trusted repair shop. The diagnosis mirrored your assessment: a defective power window switch! The replacement, a 200€ investment, has restored the harmonious operation of my windows. Thank you!

I have a similar XC60, and experienced something comparable recently. Were you experiencing any intermittent issues before the complete failure? Any clicking sounds coming from the door panel?
