Thanks for the reply! No, the check engine light hasn't come on, which I thought was weird. I haven't used any fuel injector cleaner, I was always a bit worried about putting that stuff in. If it is a dirty injector, is that something I could try to fix myself, or am I better off taking it to a mechanic?

Without a code reader, you're just guessing, right? And if your injectors are already clogged enough to cause stalling, I'd say you should skip the cleaner and head straight to a shop. They can properly diagnose and clean or replace the faulty injector. Plus, you're under warranty, aren't you?

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. I booked it in with a local mechanic, they said it was a defective injection nozzle. They cleaned it, but it didn't work, so they replaced it in the end. The repair cost was 515€. Runs like new now. I'll make sure to keep an eye on it!

Rough idling and stalling on a newer Volvo XC60? That's not good. Has the check engine light come on? A bad tank of gas can cause some of those symptoms, but I doubt that's it. Could be something fuel-related, like a dirty injector. Ever run any fuel injector cleaner through it?
