Yeah, mostly short trips! How did you fix it? Was it actually the battery? The manual mentions "Eco mode" and not working if the battery is low, but i'm not sure

Turns out, it was the battery. The car was still starting fine, but the start-stop system was the first sign of trouble. I replaced the battery, and the problem went away immediately. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get the battery properly tested.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a workshop, and you were right – it was the battery. Had it replaced, and everything's working perfectly again! Cost me about 290€. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my XC60. Does it happen mostly during short trips? How old is your car battery? The start-stop system is pretty sensitive to battery health. If the car thinks the battery is too weak to restart the engine, it will disable the system.
