XC60 Sunroof Initialization Error

My 2012 Volvo XC60 diesel with 65546 km shows a 'not initialized' error for the sunroof. The sunblind gets stuck and the convertible top won't open or close. The sunblind also doesn't fully retract/extend. Could recent coding changes be the cause?

Yeah, the battery trick rarely works on newer cars, sadly. On my BMW, the coding corrupted some sunroof parameters. After messing around for days, I took it to a workshop. They re-initialized the sunroof module, which sorted it. Probably best to avoid making things worse yourself!

Understood. Workshop visit it is. The dealer reinitialized the sunroof system for 75€. Everything works again now. Thanks for your help!
