XC60 Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Problems

Thanks, that's helpful. I did give the tires a quick once-over, but I'll check more closely for punctures. I'm not super familiar with TPMS. If it's a faulty sensor, would that also explain the ABS light and the power steering issue? Is that what happened to yours, exactly?

Okay, about the ABS light and steering: in my case, the defective valve in tire caused a rapid air leak, triggering the TPMS which then cascaded into ABS and steering malfunctions due to pressure differences and error codes. While it could be other things, given your symptoms it might be worth taking it to a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly.

Appreciate the insights. I'll book it in. The workshop confirmed it. A valve in tire was defective causing a slow leak. Replacing it sorted the tire pressure issue and, as you predicted, that fixed the ABS and power steering problems too! Cost me 280€, but worth it for the peace of mind.

Sounds familiar. I have an XC60 too, and I had a similar problem last year. Same tire pressure warning, plus the ABS acting up. Did you check the tires really closely for any punctures, even small ones? Also, have you thought about the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)? It could be a faulty sensor.
