You mention checking the sensor itself. Could you elaborate on the location of the interior temperature sensor within the XC70? I'm also curious if you recall if any specific tools were required to access the sensor and inspect the connection. Any further details you can provide regarding the accessibility of the sensor and the nature of the connection issue you encountered would be invaluable.

Right, I understand your question. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure where the sensor is exactly located without looking it up myself. I ended up taking mine to the workshop and they sorted it out. Based on what they told me and the symptoms you're describing, it really does sound like the same problem. Considering the potential complexity, maybe taking it to a trusted mechanic would be the safest bet in your case?

I appreciate you confirming that my problem is similar to an issue you previously experienced. Following your advice, I consulted a workshop, and it was indeed a faulty connection at the interior temperature sensor. The repair cost 95€ Thank you for your help!

I have an XC70 as well, and what you're describing sounds very familiar. I had a similar experience a while back where my climate control went haywire. Did you check the sensor itself? Because, I had the same error messages pop up, the AC wouldn't kick on, and it turned out to be a loose connection. What about giving the plug a wiggle and trying again?
