XC70 GPS Antenna Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Volvo XC70 owner is experiencing a complete loss of GPS reception and suspects the GPS antenna might be the issue. Another person with a similar vehicle had the same problem, which was resolved by replacing the faulty antenna. It is suggested to check the connections first, but if the problem persists, a professional inspection and potential antenna replacement may be necessary.

Yeah, completely gone, no signal at all. Where exactly did you check the connections? And what was the fix in the end?

Mine was the antenna itself. The connection check didn't show anything. I just took it to a shop, and they confirmed the antenna was dead. Cost around 200€ to replace. Maybe it's the same for you?

Thanks a lot! Sounds like that's probably it. I'll get it checked out at a shop. Hopefully, it's a simple fix like yours was. Cheers!

Hey! I had something similar on my XC70. Is it completely gone? Like, zero signal at all? I was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. Did you check the connections?
