XC70 Transmission Oil Pressure Sensor Fault

My 2013 Volvo XC70 with a gasoline engine has a transmission issue. At 141746 kilometers, the engine or transmission warning light comes on frequently. The error memory shows a persistent transmission oil pressure sensor fault. The gearbox sometimes goes into emergency mode, shifts are unclean, and there's a grinding noise during gear changes. I've checked the wiring, but the problem persists. Could low oil be the cause, or is it a more serious mechanical problem?
