XC70 Turn Signal Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Volvo XC70 is experiencing a turn signal issue, with an error message indicating a lighting fault. The problem is suspected to be due to a defective cable or plug connection, though the possibility of a faulty bulb is also considered. Despite checking for corrosion and visible issues, the problem persists, leading to the decision to seek professional repair at a workshop.

I checked, and there are no visible signs of corrosion. It's just the right-side indicator. I am not sure how to fix it. I am worried about the bill. Any other thoughts?

Yeah, mine was also just one side. Honestly, after checking the bulb and connections, I just gave up and took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly, but it was still annoying.

I was hoping it would be a simple fix, but it sounds like it might be more involved. I am going to take it to a workshop tomorrow. It's only 95€, so it's not the end of the world.

I had a similar issue with my XC70. Was it both the front and rear lights? Have you checked the bulb holder itself for corrosion? That can cause some weird electrical issues.
