Thanks for the quick reply! No stalling or surging that I noticed. It was running perfectly fine, and then just wouldn't start the next day. Did your issue also appear suddenly? And if so, what fixed it?

Yeah, mine was pretty sudden too. I messed around with it for ages, checking fuses and stuff. Eventually, I had to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They said it was something to do with the fuel injection system and engine software, but couldn't give me the exact details.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I should probably head to a garage. I took the car to the workshop, and you were right, the cable connections were faulty. They have been repaired for 155€. Appreciate the help!

That sounds frustrating. I have an XC90 too, and I had a similar issue a while back. Engine would just crank but not fire up. Did you notice any other weirdness beforehand, like engine stalling or maybe a sudden surge in power?
