XC90 faulty temperature sensor

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my 2017 Volvo XC90 hybrid. The outside temperature sensor seems faulty. I'm getting an error in the memory, the AC won't kick on, the spray nozzles are freezing even when it's not that cold, and the mirror heating is non-functional. Could this all point to the temp sensor, or am I missing something?

That does sound perplexing. Could it be a fuse perhaps? I'm not mechanically inclined, but have you checked the relevant fuses? Did all these issues begin concurrently?

I did check the fuses, they seem fine. And yes, all the symptoms started around the same time. Do you think it's likely the sensor itself, or perhaps a wiring issue as I've heard?

Given that the fuses are in good order and the problems manifested simultaneously, I'd suggest you consider a defective sensor or a wiring issue. It sounds like professional attention is warranted. Have you considered consulting with a qualified technician at a reputable workshop?

I appreciate the input. I took it to the workshop, and it turned out to be a corroded connector on the temperature sensor. They cleaned it and replaced the connector, and everything's working perfectly now. Cost me 95€. Thanks again for your help!
