Summary of the thread
A 2019 Volvo XC90 owner experienced a 'Headlight Range Control Fault' error, with low beams shining inconsistently. The light intensity does seem off, yes. Servomotor, you say? Is that something relatively easy to check, or are we talking electrical connectors and a control module deep dive?

Sounds like the same issue. I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself. Take it to a workshop and have them check the lighting system.

Thanks for confirming. I feared as much. Took it in, and you were spot on – defective servomotor. 1040€ later, and all is well. Appreciate the help!

I had something similar with my XC90. Was the light intensity also off, and the beam adjustment not working? Could be the servomotor.
