Good point. The error doesn't specify which mount. Just that it's engine-mount related. Any tips on narrowing it down before I start poking around?

In my case, the vibration was the giveaway. It was like sitting on a washing machine during spin cycle. But without a specific code, I'd recommend taking it to a trusted workshop. Let them diagnose the exact faulty mount to avoid unnecessary replacements. They should have the right equipment to check.

Thanks. Workshop diagnosed it – faulty cable connection on the front right engine mount. 95€ and it's running smooth again.

I had a similar experience with my XC90. Engine mounts can be tricky things, like the shock absorbers of your engine. Was the error message specific about which mount? There are a few of them holding that engine in place.
