XC90 Washer Fluid Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Volvo XC90 displayed a 'Washer fluid low' warning despite a full reservoir, and the windshield washer system was non-functional. The issue was suspected to be a faulty sensor or another component. After checking, it was determined that the problem was a faulty windshield washer pump, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't checked the motor or the fuse. Where is the windshield washer motor located, and is there a specific fuse I should be looking for? I'm not very experienced with vehicle electrics.

The washer motor is usually attached to the washer fluid reservoir. You should be able to hear it when activating the windshield washers. The fuse location will be in your owner's manual, but it's often in the fuse box under the hood. If you're not comfortable checking these yourself, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. A broken pump will cost you around 25€.

I appreciate the advice. I took the XC90 to a local mechanic, and it turned out to be a faulty windshield washer pump, as suggested. The error was caused by the low wiper water level. All is working again after the replacement.

I had a similar issue with my XC90. Same warning light, and the washers wouldn't spray. Have you checked the washer motor itself? Sometimes they fail, even if the fluid level seems fine. Is the motor making any noise when you try to use the washers? Did you check the fuse for the motor?
