Yaris Bluetooth Pairing Issue

I tried deleting the pairing on both ends and starting fresh, but no luck. Still get the same error message and no connection. Is there any specific procedure you followed on your Corsa that might help?

Nah, wasn't anything special I did on the Corsa. I even tried different phones, but nothing worked. Eventually, I took it to a workshop, because I was suspecting a defect. Seems like it could be some kind of software bug or maybe even a hardware fault in the infotainment system itself. Given that you've already tried the basic troubleshooting, that's probably your best bet too.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to my mechanic, and it turned out to be a software glitch related to the Bluetooth module. They reflashed the system, charged me 45€ and everything is working again.

Interesting. I had something similar happen with my old Opel Corsa. The infotainment system just refused to recognize my phone all of a sudden. In my case the error memory also contained a message. Did you try deleting the existing pairing from both your phone and the Yaris' system and then re-pairing from scratch? Sometimes that clears up glitches like this.
