Yaris Headlight Range Control Fault
Summary of the thread
The headlight range control system on a 2011 Toyota Yaris is malfunctioning, causing the low beams to shine incorrectly and triggering a warning light and error message. The issue may be related to the auto-leveling or adaptive headlights, specifically the servomotor. Replacing the servomotor has been suggested as a solution, with a recommendation to have a workshop handle any necessary recalibration.

Thanks! Could you tell me more about your experience? Was the error message the same? Did replacing the servomotor fix it completely, and did you need to recalibrate anything?

Yep, same error and symptoms. Replacing the servomotor fixed it. Didn't mess with recalibration myself, just took it to a workshop after that.

Thanks a lot for your help! It sounds like the servomotor is the problem. I'll talk to a mechanic about getting it fixed. The estimated cost is about 1040€, but at least I know what's wrong.

Hey, I had something similar with my Yaris. Check the servomotor in the headlight. Sounds like that could be the culprit.
