Thanks, I haven't checked the battery sensor itself. Where is it located, and can I test it with basic tools, or do I need special equipment? And yes, the error code was related to the battery sensor.

Given that the error code mentions the battery sensor and you're having these symptoms, that's likely the problem. Diagnosing battery sensor issues often needs specialized tools. I'd advise seeing a qualified technician to diagnose it and replace the sensor if needed.

Thanks for the advice. I took the Yaris to a local workshop, and they confirmed the battery sensor was defective. The repair was 315€. I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction!

I had a similar issue with my Yaris. Have you checked the battery sensor? A bad sensor can cause the system to misread the battery's charge, leading to over or undercharging and a dead or prematurely failing battery. Was the error code related to the battery sensor?
