Yaris Hybrid High Voltage Error

Hi, I've got a 2016 Toyota Yaris hybrid with 140067 km. I'm getting a high-voltage system error message. The engine sometimes shuts off, and engine power is reduced. Error is stored in the error memory. Any ideas?

Interesting. I drive a Yaris hybrid as well. Had something similar happen a while back. Any battery warning lights or other electrical issues before this started?

No warning lights before, and no other issues. I've checked the electrical wiring and everything seems fine. Do you remember what exactly was the problem?

Ah, okay. In my case, it turned out to be a defective voltage sensor, causing a battery drain. Best to get it checked by a workshop to confirm though. They will check the electrical fault using an error code reader.

Thanks for the insight. Took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. Turns out the battery was heavily discharged, they are gonna fix it for around 290€, new voltage sensor included.
