Coil packs, huh? Interesting. So, you think it's definitely ignition-related? Was it a pain to diagnose?

Yep, sounds like a classic ignition coil failure to me. If the symptoms match, why risk further damage? A workshop visit is in order! For me it was just a faulty connector, and the whole thing cost me around 95€ including the visit.

Thanks a bunch for the insights! I took it to the shop, and you nailed it – defective ignition coil, just like you said. Replaced it, and she's running like new again! Really appreciate the help.

Rough running, eh? Stalling? Check engine light? Sounds awfully familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms in my Yaris a while back. Have you checked the coil packs? It could be a cable or plug connection that's gone bad.
