Yaris power windows failure

Hi, I've got a 2009 Toyota Yaris with a gasoline engine, and the power windows have stopped working. Both driver and passenger side. Checked the fuses, seem okay. The error memory has an error stored, but I don't have the equipment to read it myself. Could it be the window track or something?

Summary of the thread

A 2009 Toyota Yaris experienced a failure in both the driver and passenger side power windows. Initial checks confirmed the fuses were intact, but an error was stored in the error memory. The absence of any noise when attempting to operate the windows suggested a likely issue with the power window switch. Upon professional inspection, the switch was confirmed to be defective and was replaced to resolve the problem.

Sounds like a faulty window regulator. Is there any clicking sound when you try to operate the windows? Have you checked the power window switch itself?

No clicking, completely silent. I haven't checked the switch - how would I go about testing that?

Given the symptoms and error code, and the fact that there's no noise at all, it's most likely the power window switch. Easiest would be to take it to a workshop.

Thanks for the input. Took it to the shop, turned out the switch was indeed defective. Cost me around 200€ to get it sorted.
