Yaris Washer Fluid Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Toyota Yaris hybrid owner experienced a low washer fluid warning and a non-functional windshield washer system despite refilling the fluid. The issue was traced to a faulty wiper water level sensor, which was resolved by a garage for a fee. Cleaning clogged spray jets was suggested as a potential solution, but the problem was ultimately due to the sensor.

Clogged jets, huh? I'll take a look. But if they were clogged, would that trigger an error code and completely disable the system? Seems a bit extreme, doesn't it?

Well, with my Corsa, the warning light freaked out the whole system. I think the car thought the pump was failing because it couldn't detect the fluid spraying. Could be a similar oversensitive sensor thing with your Yaris. Honestly, if cleaning the jets doesn't fix it, I'd just take it to a workshop. Could be a faulty pump, which is a pain to replace yourself.

Thanks for the advice! Turns out the wiper water level sensor was faulty and the garage charged me 25€ to fix it. I appreciate the help!

I had something similar happen with my old Opel Corsa. Kept getting the warning light, even after topping up the wiper fluid. Turns out the spray jets were clogged with gunk. Have you checked those? Maybe give them a clean with a pin or something?
