Yaris Washer System Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Toyota Yaris Hybrid is experiencing a failure in both the headlight cleaning and windshield washer systems. The fuses have been checked and are fine, suggesting the issue might be more than a clog. Possible causes include a faulty cable to the pump or a relay issue, with corrosion being a potential problem. Suggested solutions include checking the connections near the washer fluid reservoir or consulting a workshop for professional assistance.

Thanks for the tip! I'll check the cable and relay. Where are they located? I'm guessing near the reservoir? And yeah, the reservoir's full. Just want to be sure I'm looking at the right things before I start messing around.

Yeah, they should be near the reservoir, but the exact spot might be a little different. Honestly, if you're not comfortable with electrical stuff, a workshop might be a good idea. When mine went, the connection was corroded, and I just had them replace the whole thing to be safe.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I appreciate the help. I'll check the connections myself, but if I'm not sure, I'll take it to a shop. I just got a quote for 165€, so at least I know what to expect.

Interesting. I had a similar thing happen with my Yaris a while back. If both the headlight and windshield washers are out, it's probably more than just a clog. Did you check the cable to the pump or the relay? That was my problem. Is the washer fluid reservoir actually full?
