Zoe Airbag Warning Light

The airbag warning lamp in the speedometer of my 2021 electric Renault Zoe is persistently illuminated, with 158111 km. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection related to the airbag system. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? I want to get prepared for repair costs.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I drive a Zoe too. I had the same SRS light issue pop up a while back. Did you check the crash sensor connections? That’s where my gremlins were hiding.

Sure! In my case, the issue was with the side impact sensors. It's best to have them checked with proper diagnostic tools; or take it to a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact faulty connection.

Thank you for your insight. You were right; I took it to the workshop. They confirmed a faulty connection and replaced some cables. The total came to 95€.
