Zoe Electronic Parking Brake Fault

Alright, Renault Zoe gurus, I've got a head-scratcher. My 2020 Zoe (electric, of course!) has developed an electronic parking brake fault. Mileage is sitting at 177692 km. The handbrake refuses to engage, there's an error code stored, and a rather persistent warning light is glaring at me from the dash. My diagnostics are pointing towards a defective electric motor in the brake calliper. Anyone seen this before? Is it likely a brake switch issue or system glitch?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Zoe. Electronic parking brake went haywire. Did you check the brake diagnostics?

Yeah, I ran diagnostics. It's flagging the brake calliper motor. Was that the same for you, or did you have something else going on?

Yep, calliper motor! Bit of a pain, really. Honestly, just take it to a workshop. They'll sort it out properly. It's not worth messing with yourself unless you REALLY know what you're doing.
